Saint Peter Port
We dropped anchor off Guernsey at 0800 this morning after an overnight passage from Dover, and tender operations were begun swiftly to deliver our guests ashore.
St Peter Port is the largest town of the Bailiwick of Guernsey, and also its capital, although it has just 19,000 residents. A walk down its cobbled streets took our guests past charming small cafes, antique shops and high-end jewellers, with the whole place feeling not unlike an English seaside town. The Albion Pub is reputed to be the closest pub to a church anywhere in the world.
With everyone safely back on board, at 1700 we heaved anchor to set sail for La Pallice.
Kind Regards
