Dover

1st September, 2019

Well here we are again in our home port of Dover.

Our Natural Scandinavia cruise was a great one and it is time to start our little mini cruise – Summer Soirees. We were alongside by 8am this morning, not on our own either in Dover today as we have the Disney Magic at CT2. Disembarkation along with all the stores loading and luggage loading brings for a busy day.

My senior team this cruise are Staff Captain Franko, Chief Engineer Dave, Hotel General Manager Jan and Cruise Director Kayleigh.

5:15pm and time to do our mandatory Passenger Emergency Drill. 6pm and time to set sail for our first port of call this cruise – Ijmuiden, in the Netherlands, serving of course Amsterdam. Going to be a busy day for all tomorrow!!

Full steam ahead...

Captain Nick Sunderland
