Spirit of Discovery blog

Belfast

16th July, 2019

After a fantastic day at sea cruising through the Inner Hebrides we approached the pilot station at 0645 or the 4M journey to the cruise pier. Once again, the locals were incredibly friendly and wanted to welcome our guests for this maiden call.

All was well organised and we had yet another plaque exchange. Again, a lovely set of people attended – we just have to work out where we are going to put all these plaques!

Our guests had a great experience, and on their return to the ship they were greeted by a youth group who did a brilliant dance routine.

With everyone on board by 1730 we were soon on our way for the overnight run to Liverpool.
