On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
Explore Germany’s riverside scenery
Explore traditional wine towns and the historic, riverside city of Cologne on this all-inclusive, five-night river cruise along the Rhine in 2027. Step aboard Spirit of the Moselle in Mainz and, after an overnight mooring, cruise the Rhine to Rüdesheim. The key attractions of this popular wine town include the Drosselgasse, a long narrow street lined on both sides with traditional wine taverns and overlooked by the glockenspiel tower. While here, enjoy a guided tour of Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum, home to the world’s largest collection of self-playing instruments.
Next, spend a relaxing morning cruising through the picturesque scenery of the Middle Rhine Gorge, passing the fabled Lorelei Rock before arriving in Koblenz for an afternoon of exploration. Set at the exact point where the Rhine and Moselle Rivers meet, the town of Koblenz is overlooked by the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress, a citadel built by the Prussians in the 19th century. A walking tour here will reveal highlights such as the Deutsches Eck, or German Corner, the Old Town and the Schängel fountain, which stands in the courtyard of the Town Hall. A walking tour is the ideal way to see the churches, guilds and merchants houses of the medieval Old Town, or perhaps take a tour of UNESCO-listed Cologne Cathedral.
