On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
See André Rieu perform live in Amsterdam
Watch André Rieu in concert at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome and join Spirit of the Rhine to cruise the Rhine and Dutch waterways on this all-inclusive, seven-night river cruise in 2028. Enjoy a full day in Arnhem, walking into the heart of the city to see the traditional Dutch architecture lining its cobbled central square. Sail overnight to visit Dordrecht, where key sights include the Big Church (Grote Kerk), the historic City Hall, and the statue of the De Witt brothers, which can be seen on a walking tour. In Utrecht, the medieval heart of the city is overlooked by the 14th-century Domtoren bell tower. Opposite the tower on Domplein square is the Gothic Cathedral of St Martin.
Continue to the harbour town of Hoorn, set beside the IJssel Lake. Hoorn was once home to the founders of the Dutch East India Company, and as a result boasts many historic buildings. Notably the State Council building, which houses the Westfries Museum and its collection of ceramic tiles, silver, china and model ships. Next, enjoy a full day in the capital Amsterdam, home to the Royal Palace, the floating flower market and Museum Quarter. In the evening take your seat to watch André Rieu in concert at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome. Finally, sail overnight to spend a full day in Rotterdam. Explore the city by coach, alighting at the historic Delfshaven district with its traditional gabled buildings, Cube Houses, which are built at an angle across a bridge, and at the vibrant Markthal, a combined indoor food market and apartment block.

Dordrecht, the oldest city in the region of South Holland, sits at the confluence of three waterways, the Rhine, the Meuse and the Merwede. In the early 11th century Count Dirk III built a castle here to gain control of the shipping routes, and the city grew up around it. There is a selection of fine churches, due to early links with the Protestant reformation. Other attractions include the old city hall, which spans the canal, the 13th-century Augustijnenkerk and 17th-century city gate.
