On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.
This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.
Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.
When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.
Sail the IJssel Lake and visit Keukenhof Gardens
This week-long, all-inclusive river cruise in 2027 explores the attractions of the Dutch waterways and the IJssel Lake. Join Spirit of the Rhine in Rotterdam and enjoy a leisurely morning cruising to Dordrecht, the oldest city in the region of South Holland. Take a guided walk and see some of the city’s attractions, such as the old city hall, which spans the canal, and the 13th-century Augustijnenkerk. In Utrecht the medieval heart of the city is overlooked by the 14th-century Domtoren bell tower. Each corner of the city hides a quirky museum, art gallery, little church or a view of the city’s network of canals. A visit to Zaandam offers the opportunity to spend a day at leisure in the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens, browsing their renowned spring floral displays independently.
Continue to Amsterdam, the lively capital of the Netherlands, and enjoy a journey aboard one of its glass-topped canal boats past gabled houses and historic bridges. Cruise the IJssel Lake to Enkhuizen, one of the Dutch East India Company’s main operational ports in the 17th century. Browse the Zuiderzee Museum, which exhibits over 140 historic buildings from villages around the former Zuiderzee. Sail overnight to the city of Rotterdam, home to an array of modern architecture and sculptures.
