How our discounts work

On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.

This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.

Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.

When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Explore lively Dutch cities

This five-night, all-inclusive cruise along the Dutch Waterways is the perfect introduction to the Netherlands. Begin by exploring the city of Rotterdam, restored following bombing during World War Two it is now home to an array of modern architecture. The historic Delfshaven district has traditional gabled buildings and is home to the Markthal, a combined indoor food market and apartment block. There are also a number of sculptures to spot within the city, including works by Picasso, De Koning and Gabo. Sail early from Rotterdam to Dordrecht. Dordrecht is the oldest city in the region of South Holland, and is set at the confluence of three waterways, the Rhine, the Meuse and the Merwede. Enjoy a guided walk to uncover the city’s rich history. See key sights such as the Big Church (Grote Kerk), the City Hall, and the Augustine Monastery, where in 1572 the first gathering of the Free States took place.

Sail overnight to arrive early in Utrecht, where the medieval centre is overlooked by the 14th-century Domtoren bell tower. Opposite the tower on Domplein square is the Gothic Cathedral of St Martin. Each corner of the city hides a quirky museum, art gallery, little church or a view of the city’s network of canals. Continue to the capital city of Amsterdam, which started life as a fishing village in the 13th century. See the city from a different perspective during a cruise along its historic canals, passing gabled buildings and rows of bicycles.
