Day 1 UK to Budapest
Fly to Hungary's capital and embark your ship. Tonight, enjoy a welcome cocktail reception and dinner on board.
Day 2 Budapest
A coach tour of the city shows you the capital's highlights and enjoy a walking tour of castle district. Also visit Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion and tour some of Pest's fascinating sights.
Day 3 Vukovar
Discover Vukovar's baroque architecture and reminders of the damage it incurred during the Yugoslav War.
The largest Croatian town and river port on the Danube, Vukovar was a thriving town before the Yugoslav War. Unscathed belle époque architcture can be compared with shell-scarred buildings preserved in memoriam.
Day 4 Iron Gates
Sail through the world-famous Iron Gates Gorge, passing the dramatic Carpathian mountains and the foothills of the Balkans.
Day 5 Rousse
Arrive in Rousse this morning and enjoy an optional guided stroll through the city sometimes referred to as 'Little Vienna' to view the imposing 19th-century architecture.
Enjoy a guided stroll through Rousse and admire the 19th-century Austro-Hungarian architecture of its beautiful city centre. Also have a look around the Church of the Holy Trinity, Rousse's oldest church which was built in 1632.
Day 6 Danube Delta
Today enjoy cruising through the beautiful Danube Delta. You may choose to join a popular optional Danube Delta Exploration excursion to fully appreciate the wilderness and unique fauna of this UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Explore this UNESCO-protected Biosphere Reserve on a boat trip along its smaller channels that larger vessels can't reach. As Europe's second largest delta, it's host to an abundance of birdlife and some of the species that you may be lucky enough to spy here include pelicans, herons, swans and ducks.
Day 7 Chiciu to Giurgiu
Your included full-day sightseeing tour of Bucharest includes the Palace of Parliament and Patriachal Church, as well as a visit and lunch at the Village Museum. Rejoin your ship in Giurgiu.
Day 8 Cruising the Danube
Enjoy a day at leisure on board.
Day 9 Iron Gates to Donji Milanovac
Return through the dramatic Iron Gate gorge and arrive in the pretty town of Donji Milanovac, set in the midst of the Djerdap National Park. This afternoon, you may choose to join an optional excursion to the Lepenski Vir Mesolithic site, found on the banks of the Danube.
First found by farmers in 1940, it wasn't until 1965 that excavation work began in ernest, revealing the remnants of this Stone Age settlement. A series of villages and rock carvings dating back to 6400 BC were unearthed and include the earliest examples of ‘monumental’ sculptures.
Day 10 Belgrade
Arrive in Serbia's capital. You can explore its key attractions, including the Kalmegadan Fortress, the cathedral and St Sava Temple all set on the waterfront, or you may like to join an optional city tour.
Embark on a sightseeing tour of Serbia's capital by coach. Visit one of the world's largest churches, St Sava bascillica and the imposing hilltop Kalemegdan Fortress which looms large over the city.
Day 11 Novi Sad
Novi Sad. Enjoy the morning in this city where European and Balkan cultures meet. An optional walking tour will reveal the old town's fine collection of 18th and 19th-century architecture.
Enjoy a short walking tour of the old town followed by a visit to a family wine cellar to sample local wine and honey.
Day 12 Mohács to Paks
This major port on the Danube is famous for its folklore traditions. An optional excursion reveals traditional horsemanship by Magyar cowboys. Rejoin the ship and sail to Kalocsa (Paks on 2016 departures), pausing briefly for excursion participants to rejoin the ship.

Day 13 Esztergom
Perhaps join an optional excursion to Szentendre and the basilica of Esztergom.
Visit the historic Hungarian town of Esztergom which is crowned by the country's largest catherdral. Continue to the charming little town of Szentendre which is packed with galleries and museums.
Day 14 Bratislava
Explore Bratislava’s Old Town and ancient cobbled streets, see its castle and Gothic-style cathedral – or take an optional guided tour.

Day 15 Melk to Weissenkirchen to Dürnstein
Arrive in Melk this morning where you may like to take an optional excursion to the magnificent Melk Abbey. Next, you'll visit the pretty wine village of Weissenkirchen - perfect for an afternoon stroll. Your last stop today will be in Dürnstein in the lush Wachau Valley - perhaps join an optional orientation walk and a wine-tasting.

Day 16 Vienna
Join an included tour of Austria's famously musical capital. See the Ringstrasse and Opera House, amongst other highlights, plus enjoy a walking tour of the historic centre and a coffee and cake stop in one of the Viennese coffee houses. Afterwards, you can explore independently, and may choose to join an optional concert tonight.
Join an optional excursion to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Schonbrunn Palace.
After dinner you have the opportunity to join an optional visit to watch a Vienna Opera.
Day 17 Vienna to UK
Disembark and travel to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
