It's important to be well insured when you travel abroad
Saga Holidays Travel Insurance
We include comprehensive travel insurance and additional cancellation rights with all of our overseas holidays, including the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly and river and ocean cruises.
If you have your own insurance a price reduction is available.
Saga’s range of insurance products is designed specifically for our customers and is unique to us. Saga Holidays Travel Insurance is underwritten by Astrenska Insurance Limited who meet our high standards of quality and service. Cover is subject to medical questions.
For holidays in mainland Britain, if you take the UK insurance we will also include additional cancellation rights.
Saga Holidays are for anyone aged over 50. A travel companion may be over 40.
For information on our additional cancellation rights, please refer to section 11 of our booking conditions.
Please be aware that separate cancellation cover for Coronavirus is included when you choose travel insurance.
Our Travel Insurance policy will only provide cover for any claims caused by or relating to Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), or any mutation of, under the 'Emergency medical associated expenses' section of your policy book. This section provides insurance for emergency medical and associated costs not covered by the National Health Service or any reciprocal health agreement.

If you're a regular holidaymaker and travelling more than once in a year, our annual Saga Travel Insurance could be right for you. Tailored for the over 50s, our multi-trip insurance option gives you cover for multiple holidays throughout the year.
With an annual Saga Travel Insurance policy you're covered to travel up to a maximum of 120 days per year in your chosen region or up to 45 days per trip with the option to extend to 60 or 90 days (extensions exclude USA, Canada and the Caribbean Islands).
