An included excursion this morning visits the Residence Palace for a guided walking tour, followed by a walking tour through the historic city centre of W%u00fcrzburg in the company of a local guide. Continue sailing overnight.Day 8: Miltenberg, Germany. Arrive 1400. Depart 1900. Miltenberg is set in the scenic Main valley, between the Odenwald and the Spessart Mountains. The oldest part of the city lies on the left bank of the Main below a wooded hill, crowned by a 13th-century castle. The old town, enclosed within ancient walls and gates, is home to picturesque cobblestone streets of half-timbered houses and old wine taverns.Day 9: Mainz, Germany. Arrive 1200. Mainz is known for its medieval market squares, half-timbered houses, Romanesque sandstone cathedral and St Stephen%u2019s church, which features stained glass windows by renowned artist Marc Chagall.Day 10: Mainz, Germany to UK.
