HOW OUR DISCOUNTS WORK
On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each grade
at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 25% available
on selected grades. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce,
and continues to reduce, until those selected cabins are sold. This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels (where applicable) clearly show the full cruise price, along with the discounted fare applicable at the time of going to print. Please note that during peak booking periods discounts can reduce quickly. Please call us or visit our website for the most up to date prices.
OUR PRICE PROMISE
Should we ever reduce our prices or introduce a new special offer after you book, we will calculate the price difference and pass the value of any possible saving back to you (optional ad-hoc services are excluded). This applies as long as the discounted cruise is exactly the same package offered under exactly the same terms of sale (which means the full terms that apply to your holiday contract, including your cabin grade and whether your cabin is allocated at the time of booking or at embarkation). In calculating any possible saving due, we’ll take into consideration all offers and discounts that were applied at the time of booking and compare the overall price that you’ve been charged with the current price. We will pass on the value of the saving in the form of a higher-grade cabin, on-board credit, or other value-added benefit.

In the case of discounted prices and other special offers, please note that there are only a limited number of places available at the special offer prices. We reserve the right to extend, reduce or withdraw
the offers at any time, without notice. Selected offers cannot be booked online.
SAVE 10% WHEN YOU BOOK A SECOND CRUISE
Why not stay on board for longer? You can make a further saving of 10% off the price of each consecutive cruise you book. This discount is off the current fare at the time of booking, after any other offers have been applied. It makes a longer voyage greater value for money. Please call for details.
WHAT WE DESCRIBE
Some of the highlights detailed may only be seen on optional excursions, at an additional cost, or by exploring independently. Advertised amenities, included and optional excursions, entertainment and activities may change or become unavailable.
We will notify you of any known changes at the time of booking.
Final details of optional excursions will be sent to you before you travel although we cannot guarantee they will be available during
your cruise. The weather can affect river levels and sometimes this impacts on an itinerary. In the unlikely event of this happening we will do our utmost to ensure the cruise remains as close to its original itinerary as possible or we will offer a suitable alternative if necessary. GUARANTEE CABINS
The traditional way to book a cruise is to reserve your cabin number at the time of booking. However, if you’ve decided what type of cabin you want, but don’t have a preference for a particular cabin or bed configuration, then our cabin guarantee could be for you. You are guaranteed the minimum grade cabin in the category shown, just not the specific cabin. This will be allocated to you later on, sometimes as you embark the ship. If you choose not to accept your allocated cabin, which could be located anywhere on the ship, this will be treated
as a cancellation by you and cancellation charges will be payable in accordance with our booking conditions. There is the chance you may be upgraded, although this is subject to cabin availability and in no way forms part of this offer.
INSURANCE POLICY
Because it’s important to be adequately insured when you
travel abroad, we offer optional comprehensive travel insurance, underwritten by Astrenska Insurance Limited, and additional cancellation cover with all our overseas holidays. If you are suffering from, or in the last 12 months have suffered from, an illness that
has required treatment from a doctor, you must advise us and we’ll confirm whether you can be covered under this insurance. A full summary of the optional travel insurance will be provided with your booking confirmation. Cover is available to UK residents only and subject to medical screening. Terms and conditions apply. If you have your own insurance, we will offer you the holiday at a lower price – please call for further details.
PRE-CRUISE COVID-19 VACCINATION
Following the roll-out of the Covid-19 vaccination programme in
the UK, Saga has reviewed all health and safety procedures to ensure we are providing the safest possible cruise experience. Therefore, we have a requirement that all guests must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19, including a booster, at least 14 days before cruising with us, and will require proof of this before boarding the ship. FREE WI-FI
Free Wi-Fi is included on all vessels. However, the signal can be intermittent due to the moving nature of the ships, and there may be times when it is not available. In some cases the Wi-Fi signal is only available in the public areas of the ship and not in your cabin.
TRANSFERS
On some occasions, due to the location of the river ports to the airports, a longer coach transfer is necessary.
A NOTE ABOUT BERTHING
At some of the more popular ports you may find your ship berths alongside other river cruise ships, which means the views from the windows can become obscured and you may have to walk through other ships to reach the riverbank. On rare occasions the berth will be located on the outskirts of town, a decision which is beyond our control and often made by the river authorities at that port.

Quality ratings vary considerably from country to country, so we apply our own reliable ratings, based on the variety of food, facilities and standard of cabins, with representing the finest. ratings are highlighted on each cruise page. Similarly, we give hotel accommodation our Q rating, with QQQQQ representing the finest.
