18HOW OUR DISCOUNTS WORKOn all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each grade at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% available on selected grades. These%u00a0cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As%u00a0cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce, until those selected cabins are sold. This%u00a0means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our%u00a0price panels (where applicable) clearly show the full cruise price, along with the discounted fare applicable at the time of going to print. Please note that during peak booking periods discounts can reduce quickly. Please call us or visit our website for the most up to date prices.PRICINGWe do not impose surcharges. Once booked, the cost of your cruise package cannot be increased unless you amend your booking. We%u00a0reserve the right not to be legally bound in the case of incorrect pricing and acknowledgement of such an error does not mean acceptance of it.SPECIAL OFFERSIn the case of discounted prices and other special offers, please note that there are only a limited number of places available at the special offer prices. We reserve the right to extend, reduce or withdraw the offers at any time, without notice. Selected offers cannot be%u00a0booked online.SAVE 10% WHEN YOU BOOK%u00a0A%u00a0SECOND CRUISEWhy not stay on board for longer? You%u00a0can make a further saving of 10% off the price of each consecutive cruise you book. This%u00a0discount is off the current fare at the time of booking, after%u00a0any other offers have been applied. It makes a longer voyage greater value%u00a0for money. Please call for%u00a0details. OUR PRICE PROMISEShould we ever reduce our prices or introduce a new special offer after you book, we will calculate the price difference and pass the value of any possible saving back to you (optional ad-hoc services are excluded). This%u00a0applies as long as the discounted cruise is exactly the same package offered under exactly the same terms of sale (which means the full terms that apply to your holiday contract, including your cabin grade and whether your cabin is allocated at the time of booking or at embarkation). In calculating any possible saving due, we%u2019ll take into consideration all offers and discounts that were applied at the time of booking and compare the overall price that you%u2019ve been charged with the current price. We will pass on the value of the saving in the form of a higher-grade cabin, on-board credit, or%u00a0other%u00a0value-added benefit.SOLD OUT CRUISES AND ADVANCE REGISTRATIONSIf you are interested in a cruise that has sold out, call the team on 0800 504 505 and we will register your interest. Should any cabins become available at a later date, we will contact you. We also operate an advance registration scheme whereby you can register your interest for cruises that are not yet on sale for a fully-refundable deposit of %u00a390 per person. Once you have made an advance registration we will contact you before the cruises go on general sale giving you opportunity to be the first to book. Making an advance registration gives you the opportunity to secure your choice of cabin at the best possible discount.GUARANTEE CABINSThe traditional way to book a cruise is to reserve your cabin number at the time of booking. However,%u00a0if you%u2019ve decided what type of cabin you want, but don%u2019t have a preference for a particular cabin or bed configuration, then our Balcony Guarantees could be for you. You%u00a0are guaranteed the minimum grade cabin in the category shown, just not the specific cabin. This%u00a0will be allocated to you later on, sometimes as you embark the ship. If you choose not to accept your allocated cabin, which could be located anywhere on the ship, this will be treated as a cancellation by you and cancellation charges will be payable in accordance with our booking conditions. There%u00a0is the chance you may be upgraded, although this is subject to cabin availability and in no way forms part of this offer. Note that twin cabins may have two single beds or a double bed. To see the prices of our Guarantees, look out for the %u2021%u00a0symbol in the price%u00a0panels.OPTIONAL AD-HOC SERVICESWe provide you with the option to specifically request extras which are in addition to, or adaptations of, our standard packages. Prices for optional ad-hoc services such as extensions, extra accommodation, upgrades, additional flights that are not part of a standard Saga allocation and domestic flights (%u2018ad-hoc service%u2019) can vary depending on when you book. Please note that adding an ad-hoc service may result in additional non-refundable charges to our standard packages due to changes in flight dates, changes to our standard allocated accommodation periods and additional costs passed to us from third party suppliers. They%u00a0may also result in an additional or higher non-refundable deposit being payable. You will be notified of the total price of your holiday and any increase to your deposit prior%u00a0to booking.INSURANCE POLICYBecause it is important to be adequately insured when you travel abroad, we offer optional comprehensive travel insurance, underwritten by Astrenska Insurance Limited, and additional cancellation cover with all our overseas holidays. If you are suffering from, or in the last 12 months have suffered from, an illness that has required treatment from a doctor, you must advise us and we%u2019ll confirm whether you can be covered under this insurance. A full summary of the optional travel insurance will be provided with your booking confirmation. Cover is available to UK residents only and subject to medical screening. Terms and conditions apply. If%u00a0you have your own insurance, we%u00a0will offer%u00a0you the holiday at a lower price %u2013 please%u00a0call for further details.PASSPORTS AND VISASYou will need a valid passport for all cruises featured. Your passport must be valid for at least six months after the end of your cruise. We recommend that you have at least three blank pages in your passport to cover potential immigration formalities which may be required in some countries. If you are a full British citizen resident in the UK, for the majority of destinations, if required, Saga will obtain your visa (excluding Schengen visas) or tourist card free of charge (postage is not included). We%u00a0will advise you at the time of booking where you are responsible for obtaining your own visa. From late 2024 it is expected that full British citizens resident in the UK will need an ETIAS travel authorisation in order to enter most EU member states. You will be responsible for obtaining this authorisation before travel. You are also responsible for ensuring that you do not breach any restrictions governing your length of stay in these countries. For%u00a0further information about passports and%u00a0Saga%u2019s visa service call%u00a0Saga on 0800%u00a0525 290 or email visa@saga.co.uk. If you are telephoning from outside the UK, please call +44 (0)1303 771138 (please note that this is not a freephone number). It may be necessary for you to arrange your own individual visas for independent travel in some ports. If you are not a full British citizen resident in the UK, you must confirm your nationality or status at the time of booking. Your specific passport and visa requirements, and other immigration requirements are your responsibility and you should confirm these with the relevant Embassies and/or Consulates. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.ESSENTIAL INFORMATION
