                                    15Enriching entertainmenton boardThe time you spend aboard our river ships is just as interesting as your days exploring the riverside destinations. Our resident on-board entertainer will now be joined by a new Enrichment Host, who will provide a number of day time activities, along with more on-board entertainment from local musicians and performers. This includes live music from a string quartet in Belgrade, demonstrations of Hungarian folklore, plus there will be a host of lectures to help understand the culture and history of the destinations you are visiting. 15Exploring more on your ownAlong with your included and optional excursions, there are plenty of other ways to see the sights, your way.Our free transfer busMost of the time, our ships are moored close to the main sights, making it easy to disembark and walk into the city or town and start exploring straight away. But whenever you are a little further away, we will provide a complimentary transfer bus. You can use this to head into the main town and explore.Interactive maps and headsetsIn selected ports, you can also borrow our free interactive maps and audio headsets, perfect for exploring independently. These devices make it easy to go on your own mini-adventure in and around the town, following routes to the local monuments and other landmarks. Our crew will happily show you how to use them when you are on board.DRACHENFELS COG RAILWAY RIDEStep aboard the Drachenfelsbahn %u2013 Germany%u2019s oldest rack and pinion railway, dating back to 1883. This scenic journey reaches a peak of nearly 1,000 feet at the summit of Drachenfels Mountain. Enjoy a talk from your guide about this area, the rail and its history. You will then have some free time to view the ruins of 12th-century Drachenfel Castle from the top with its sweeping panoramic views. See pages 18, 19, 24 and 34.TRIER CITY GUIDED WALKHop off the ship and join an expert local guide for a walking tour around Trier%u2019s inner-city, the best way to see the sights. Pass along the banks of the Moselle to see the ancient Roman Bridge, then explore further with a guided tour on foot to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites including the Porta Nigra, market square, cathedral and Church of Our Lady.
