How our discounts work

On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. These cabins are sold on a first come, first served basis. As cabins are sold, the discount begins to reduce, and continues to reduce until those selected cabins are sold.

This means that the earlier you book, the higher the chance of securing a greater discount. Our price panels clearly show the full cruise price, along with the current discount fare.

Please note: During busy periods for holiday bookings, the early booking discount can reduce rapidly. We recommend that you book early to benefit from the best booking discounts and to secure your preferred cabin.

When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Explore the sights along the Danube

Combine historic cities and traditional towns with the Danube’s most dramatic scenery on this all-inclusive river cruise aboard Spirit of the Danube in 2025.

Spend an afternoon in the Hungarian town of Mohács before sailing overnight to Serbia’s capital city Belgrade. Enjoy a full day exploring the city’s historic sights, such as the Belgrade Fortress, independently. Then, cruise past the Decebalus Face rock carving and the Iron Gates gorge into Romania. Spend the afternoon in Drobeta-Turnu Severin and sail back through the gorge in the early hours of the morning to Donji Milanovac.

From here, travel by coach to the Djerdap Gorge for an included walking tour of the Lepenski Vir Mesolithic site. Continue along the Danube to Golubac where your ship moors beside Golubac Fortress – climb the steps up to the medieval fortress and explore the extensive site on an included excursion.

Sail overnight to Novi Sad and join an included excursion into the Fruska Gora National Park to visit a monastery before spending a day cruising the Danube to Budapest. Stroll past the medieval architecture that lines the cobbled streets of Buda as you explore the city during a full day at leisure.
