On all cruises we set aside a number of cabins within each level at a discounted fare, with the highest discount of 35% for ocean cruises and 25% for river cruises available on selected levels. When promoting new cruises for the first time, we contact customers on our Advanced Registration list first, allowing then to secure the cabin of their choice and benefit from the best savings. Our brochures are then sent out to loyalty club members first, followed by past cruise goers and then everyone else.

Bergen’s historic waterfront, UNESCO-listed Bryggen, is graced by colourful gabled buildings that hark back to its days as a member of the Hanseatic League. The Hanseatic Museum, housed in one of the old warehouses, features antique furnishings for an insight into merchant life. The wharf neighbours Bergen’s old town of characterful 17th to 18th-century wooden houses that adorn cobbled lanes and attractive squares.

An included panoramic excursion reveals one of the oldest buildings still standing, 12th-century St Mary’s Church.

Scenic Cruising, Geirangerfjord
This chocolate-box village is set at the head of the majestic Geirangerfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You don’t have to go far to experience Norway’s wild beauty though – a waterfall walk near the centre of Geiranger leads up 327 steps alongside the roaring cascades of Storfossen waterfall. Departing Geiranger Spirit of Discovery will cruise Geirangerfjord, passing the Seven Sisters Waterfall along the way.

From Sandnes you can join an included panoramic excursion to Stavanger, a multifaceted city that reflects its progression from a prosperous fishing port to an industrial centre for shipbuilding and oil. Its charm lies in Old Stavanger where cobbled lanes weave past white-painted wooden cottages and boutique shops stocked with local handicrafts.
