Discover the Virgin Gorda Baths
Activity Level: Strenuous Activity
For those with a geological curiosity, the Virgin Gorda Baths should be on your bucket list.

After a 40-minute cruise along the Sir Francis Drake Channel, you can absorb the baths for yourself. Upon arrival, perhaps roam through the intricate network of trails and boulders to discover hidden caves and sea pools; there’s also the opportunity to go for a swim.

A good level of physical fitness is recommended for participants and we also recommend bringing water, flat walking footwear, swimwear, a towel and suncream. Food and drinks are available for purchase at the Top of the Baths with US Dollars accepted here.

Leaving the valley behind, continue north, past an abundance of impressive views across seemingly inaccessible landscape before arriving at the oldest tea garden in Europe – Chá Gorrean. Here, learn the process of tea production by visiting the factory and museum (which displays machinery from the 19th century), before enjoying a cup of cha (tea) for yourself and a slice of homemade pineapple cake.
