We were sad to learn that Thomas Cook, an integral part of the British High Street, ceased trading on September 23, 2019.

This news has undoubtedly caused disruption to thousands of holidaymakers as well as a number of our guests, and our team are reviewing all affected Saga holidays.

For Saga guests who are currently on holiday

If you were due to travel home on a Thomas Cook flight, please don’t worry.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) have been doing a fantastic job repatriating all customers who were due to fly with Thomas Cook. All customers due home so far have been repatriated, although in some cases at different times and in a small number of instances to a different UK airport. Rest assured in these instances, any guests affected will be taken back to their original point of departure once back in the UK.

If you are due home after 6th October, we are finalising all arrangements now and your new flight details will be provided by your resort team in the next few days.

For guests who departed from 23rd September, in most cases you will have been provided with your new return flight details, we will update the small number who were given outbound flight information only, through your resort representatives in the coming days.

Your Saga Host or Tour Manager will be on hand to provide further information as soon as it is available, and we’d like to thank you for your patience.

For Saga guests whose upcoming holiday includes Thomas Cook flights

Some of our holidays include Thomas Cook flights. We’re currently contacting all affected customers who are due to travel, prioritising those travelling in the next seven days, and then by earliest departure date.
