And even though the landscape of travel is continually changing, your safety and that of our colleagues will always be of paramount importance.

Saga’s Reassurance Promise has been created to make sure you feel safe and secure when you choose a holiday or river cruise with us. Even though travel is on pause for the moment, we want you to feel confident planning your next adventure with us.

We also want to reassure you that, even though there may be small differences to the way we travel, it will not impact on the overall experience. From ensuring we have a safe and clean environment throughout, to adhering to social distancing measures, we will continually monitor the situation to make sure you have a hassle-free holiday.

Our included travel insurance on all overseas holidays includes up to £5m emergency medical and repatriation cover for a variety of medical conditions, including coronavirus*.

Added flexibility

Our flexible cancellation cover is there should you need to cancel due to a variety of medical conditions, including coronavirus, prior to departure*.

Your money is 100% protected

All guests travelling on flight-inclusive holidays will be 100% financially protected, as your money will be held in a separate Trust account^.

Amend your holiday for free

Book your holiday by April 30 2021 and you can amend at no additional cost if you wish to change your holiday plans**.

The steps we're taking to safeguard your holiday

At Saga, the health and safety of our guests has always been of paramount importance. Our highly trained Health and Safety team, in partnership with our external Health and Safety partner, have already started liaising with our hoteliers to ensure that every precaution is taken to ensure your chosen holiday can operate as smoothly as possible.

Once you arrive overseas, our Hosts, Tour Managers and Agency Partners will be there to ensure all local requirements are complied with.

^This excludes UK breaks and no-fly holidays/river cruises which will still be 100% ABTA protected. If Saga has to cancel your holiday, you will get a no-quibble case refund within 14 days.

**This is a temporary change to our standard booking conditions. Valid on new bookings made before April 30, 2021 for holidays departing before December 31, 2021. Holiday is amendable up until 60 days before departure. Any third party charges incurred would still be charged e.g. certain air tickets. If the alternative holiday or departure is more expensive than the original booking, you will be responsible for the difference in price. We will refund the difference in price if alternative holiday or departure is lower than the original booking.
