Your gulet experience

A gulet – pronounced gu’let in Turkish and from the French word gouëlette which means schooner – is a two-mast wooden sail boat used by fishermen and sponge divers to carry their precious cargo back to land. In modern times they have been refined for passenger travel and their rigging is not often used, as most captains favour engine power. Each gulet normally has eight cabins and you sail in a small flotilla of no more than three boats on our Gulet package holidays.
