Private jet tours

The pinnacle of luxury travel

Our most luxurious holidays yet, these private jet tours offer a succession of unforgettable encounters and experiences in some of the world’s most iconic travel destinations.

Travelling exclusively by privately chartered jet and staying in a succession of exquisite hotels, each one is a lifetime of luxury holidays in one unique trip.

An evocative journey from Jordan to Venice along the historic spice trade route, taking you to dreamy Zanzibar beaches, lush vanilla plantations in Madagascar, India’s palm-fringed backwaters, and atmospheric souqs in Oman.

Beginning in Rome and ending in Istanbul, you’ll touch down in six dazzling countries and enjoy a rollcall of exclusive private tours, overland adventures, special visits and lavish banquets.

“For us, it’s been the holiday of a lifetime.

We’ve both done a lot of travelling, but not at this level of luxury. We’ve had such a positive experience.”

“It was about experiences – and we certainly got that.

We were able to go to a lot of different countries with different cultures and see all the highlights.”

We wanted every single experience on these holidays to be a cut above the norm.

Dining in style

It goes without saying that the cuisine on our private jet tours will always be of exceptional quality.   But it’s more than just the food itself. From the milky beaches of Zanzibar to the rooftops of Rome, we’ve scoured each destination for the most amazing settings, to give you a host of truly memorable meals throughout.

“We put our bags outside in the morning and we didn’t touch them again until the next hotel, when they were delivered straight into our rooms. No fighting to get your bag off the carousel – it was just a dream.”

“[They have] done things that, if we’d done it on our own, we would never have thought to do, never been able to arrange. It was marvellous.”

Travelling by privately chartered plane allows us to design adventures that really wow. We can go further, show you more destinations – it’s a lifetime of luxury holidays in one incredible trip.

"I always tend to say that the concept of touring by private jet offers guests a real unique opportunity to connect different destinations in the world, seamlessly and conveniently."

Frequently asked questions

It varies – some are full days, while others are a few hours in the morning, afternoon or evening. Our online itineraries will tell you whether an excursion is a full day one or just for part of the day. Alternatively, you can call our private jet advisors for more detailed information.

That will depend on which itinerary you choose. For Captivating Cultures, we have a maximum group size of 68; for Spice Route Journey, it’s 79. We split into smaller groups for excursions and sightseeing, so you’ll always have a more intimate experience for guided tours and workshops. As with all of our tours, the group will be a mix of couples, friends and solo travellers.

We will arrange your visa for Jordan, but you will be responsible for organising any other visas required. Our private jet advisors can help you check which visas you will need for your tour.

Our product managers have selected some truly special stays for these tours, from a converted flour mill in Venice to a luxe hotel with Taj Mahal views from every room. Most are 5-star rated, with a few (for example, our desert camp in Wadi Rum and our hotel in Madagascar) being top-end 4-star properties. You can find out more about each hotel we stay at in our private jet brochure.

These tours travel to an incredible range of places, so the weather will vary as you go. We try and make sure we’ll be travelling at the most comfortable times, avoiding the hottest, coldest and wettest periods, but you’ll be moving from temperate to tropical (and back again), so you’ll need to pack for a range of weather situations. We’re here to help, though – just give us a call if you need any advice on weather or what to pack.

For most of our included meals, there’ll be a menu with three to four options per course. For some, though, there might be a more limited choice, like our Arabian banquet in Petra or the beach barbecue in Zanzibar. In India, some of our meals may be buffet-style, so you can pick and choose the dishes and accompaniments that best suit your palate.

If you have any dietary requirements, let us know well before we travel so we can make all the necessary arrangements. While catering for different requirements will be easy in the bigger hotels and restaurants, in some places (Madagascar, for example) they aren’t so used to it, and will need more time to ensure they can cater for everyone.

There isn’t a formal dress code as such, but there will be occasions on the tour – a banquet or cocktail party, say – when you might want to dress up. For the plane, we’d recommend loose, comfortable clothes (no need for business-class attire). Be mindful of the places we’re visiting (some churches prefer you to cover shoulders and knees, for example) and make sure you bring comfy shoes!

Both of our private jet tours are a level 2 on our pace guide (a ‘moderate pace’). There are a lot of incredible experiences packed in, with at least one excursion on most days – you’ll need a reasonable level of fitness and mobility to get the most out of your time with us. There’ll be downtime, too, when you can relax or perhaps join one of the complimentary optional excursions. And as for the travel days, our jet makes them a joy rather than a chore!

You’ll always be seated with others on your booking. We operate a rotation system when it comes to seating, so you’ll be sitting in a different spot for each flight – this allows everyone to experience a variety of locations on the jet.

With the widest choice of holidays and travel experiences than ever before, you can now personalise your trip so you are in complete control. All this is backed up by the high-standards and service you’d expect from Saga.
