Day 1 UK to Atlanta

Our VIP door-to-door travel service collects you from home, for your flight to Atlanta.

Day 2 Atlanta to Savannah

Enjoy a backstage tour of the news network, CNN before we embark on a journey through scenic Georgia countryside to Savannah.

This famously beautiful city is a hub for creative types, but it’s the elegant 18th and 19th-century townhouses, brick ‘sidewalks’, towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss, and its warm southern hospitality that captures the hearts of visitors.

Day 3 Savannah

Begin the day with a guided walking tour, taking in the city’s Civil War history, three centuries worth of architectural prowess, and an old-time candy shop on historic River Street.

This afternoon is free to spend as you please.

Day 4 Charleston

This morning we cross the state line into South Carolina. We make a stop at Magnolia Plantation and Gardens en route, among the most beautiful public gardens in America since it was founded in 1676.

Day 5 Charleston

A crest of old-world charm, it’s impossible not to conjure images of an earlier era as we walk Charleston’s cobbled pathways lined with colonial mansions on our guided tour this morning.

This afternoon, there is an optional cruise in the harbour to see Fort Sumter, WWII aircraft carrier USS Yorktown, The Battery, and the Ravenal Bridge.

Day 6 Wilmington

We arrive in Wilmington, North Carolina - the gateway to the Cape Fear Coast beaches. Enjoy a guided tour of the historic district and the gallery-lined boardwalk.

You stay at Hampton Inn Wilmington Downtown (3*) or Courtyard Wilmington Wrightsville Beach (3*).

Day 7 Virginia Beach to Williamsburg

We journey to Williamsburg, stopping en route at stunning Virginia Beach with its six-mile sandy beach and thriving 40-block boardwalk flanked with restaurants, cafés, and shops.

Day 8 Williamsburg to Jamestown

A full day of exploration awaits in the historical cities of Williamsburg and Jamestown. The former capital of the Virginia Colony until 1789, Williamsburg was England’s oldest, largest, richest, most populous colony and played a significant role in the American Revolution.

We’ll visit Colonial Williamsburg - one of the largest and most comprehensive living-history museums in the USA. Nearby Jamestown is home to two compelling attractions; Historic Jamestowne and Jamestown Settlement. While in the area, we’ll learn about the first permanent English settlement in North America.

Day 9 Washington DC

Marbled monuments and memorials, eclectic neighbourhoods, and high-profile politicos; Washington DC - ‘America’s front yard’ - is a real treasure trove of historic sites and neoclassical buildings.

We’ll take a guided tour of the nation’s capital stopping by the Capitol Building, the White House, and the Lincoln Memorial and Washington Monument.

Day 10 Washington DC

You might choose to join an excursion to Mount Vernon today to visit the beloved home of America’s first President, George Washington, and his wife Martha.

The afternoon is free to perhaps explore the magnificent Smithsonian Institution - a collection of 17 museums and galleries home to the National Museum of Natural History, National Museum of African American history, and National Air and Space Museum to name just three.

This evening, you can join an optional tour to see the city’s sights under the stars.

Day 11 Philadelphia to New York

We stop in Philadelphia en route to New York City. Here, we enjoy a guided tour and discover Independence National History Park, which includes the iconic Hall of Independence and Liberty Bell.

We’ll continue on to the Big Apple.

Day 12 New York

Take a bite of the Big Apple today on a guided tour of the iconic sites.

You’ll realise we’re a world away from where we started in Savannah as we take in Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, 5th Avenue, Broadway, Central Park, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Chinatown and the Financial District.

The afternoon is free to explore as you please.
