On arrival, transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Boston

A guided tour takes us to Boston’s historic sites and important neighbourhoods. Explore Back Bay, Copley Square, and Beacon Hill, and travel along the Freedom Trail to discover the monuments that shaped the American Revolution.

We also see the house of Paul Revere, who alerted the start of the Revolution.

This afternoon is free to explore further.

Day 3 Plymouth

We depart for Plymouth, America’s hometown and visit Plimoth Patuxet Museums, home to a 17th-century English village, a historic Patuxet Homesite and a craft centre to explore.

We visit the Mayflower II next, a full scale, recently restored replica of the tall ship that brought the Pilgrims here in 1620.

Day 4 Cape Cod

We’ll make our way along the Cape Cod National Seashore, stopping in the quaint town of Chatham, with family-owned shops, restaurants and the Chatham Lighthouse.

We then continue to Provincetown, where the Pilgrims first landed at the very tip of Cape Cod.

Day 5 Ogunquit to Portland to Bethel

Depart Plymouth for the Maine coast, where we stop in the town of Ogunquit with time to walk the Marginal Way - a mile-long, paved path from Ogunquit to Perkins Cove.

We then continue to the historic seacoast town of Portland for time to explore, before heading inland to Bethel.

Day 6 White Mountains

Today we wind through the spectacular White Mountains. We stop at Cannon Mountain, where you will take the Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway for incredible views of the surrounding scenery, before continuing to North Conway.

Day 7 Québec City

An early start today as we head across the Canadian border to Québec City, where we’ll stay for two nights.

Day 8 Québec City

We enjoy a morning tour of Québec City, where the perfectly preserved, fortified Old Town offers plenty to see. Admire the English and French-style houses, soaring church spires, the beautiful Place Royale, and the luxury Château Frontenac.

The afternoon is free to explore at your own pace.

Day 9 Montréal

We’ll head to Montréal, for a sightseeing tour including Old Montréal and Mount Royal Park. The French roots and British influences still shine through as you explore this fascinating metropolis.

Day 10 Ottawa to Toronto

We depart for Ottawa to take a short orientation tour of the vibrant capital, home to some of the world’s most impressive parliament buildings.

Later, we travel along the 1,000 Islands Parkway to the city of Toronto.

Day 11 Toronto

A local guide will take us on a morning orientation tour of Toronto.

Amongst the gleaming skyscrapers is the 553m-high CN Tower – and there is an optional excursion to ascend this great landmark for the 100-mile view.

Day 12 Niagara Falls to Syracuse

Spend this morning at the mighty Niagara Falls - take a walk along the banks and experience the incredible sound of 750,000 gallons of water pouring over Horseshoe Falls

Optional excursions allow you to enjoy this phenomenal attraction from a boat, a small plane or helicopter.

We then head back across the US border to the city of Syracuse.

Day 13 New York

Our journey continues through New York State to New York City.

This evening you have the chance to take in the atmosphere of New York at night with an optional excursion in Greenwich Village and a tour of Manhattan Island.

Day 14 New York

Our morning tour takes in iconic sights such as Central Park, Rockefeller Plaza, Times Square, Fifth Avenue, Broadway, St Patrick’s Cathedral, Chinatown and the Financial District, concluding at the poignant National 9/11 Memorial & Museum.

The rest of the day is free to do as you please - perhaps take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, or a helicopter over Manhattan.

Day 15 New York to UK

Time to explore further or take an optional tour of Harlem.

Later, we transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.

Day 16 UK

Upon arrival, your vehicle will be waiting for the journey home.
