Day 1 UK to Vancouver


After taking Saga’s included UK door-to-door travel service to the airport, depart for your flight to Vancouver where you stay for three nights at the locally rated 4-star Sheraton Vancouver Wall Center (4Q).

The hotel is well positioned close to the boutiques of Robson Street and Yaletown, while Stanley Park and the Vancouver Art Gallery are just round the corner. The 733 guest rooms enjoy views of the city’s celebrated skyline and the Pacific Ocean. They are equipped with a television, telephone, minibar, fridge, coffee maker, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, safe, air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. You can relax in the restaurant, bar or coffee lounge, and enjoy the indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and health club.

Day 2 Vancouver


An included sightseeing trip this morning visits some of the city's many attractions including the famous totem poles of Stanley Park. Afternoon at leisure. B

Day 4 Vancouver - Victoria


Transfer to Victoria by coach and ferry with a visit to the beautiful Butchart Gardens.

Enjoy an included sightseeing tour of the city and stay two nights in Victoria at the locally rated 3-star Best Western Carlton Victoria Hotel (3Q) situated in the Lower Johnson area of the city. Facilities at the hotel include restaurant, and fitness centre. Each of the air-conditioned rooms are equipped with a telephone, television, safe tea and coffee-making facilities, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. B

Day 5 Victoria


Perhaps join an optional whale-watching excursion.B

Day 6 Victoria to Whistler


Return to the mainland and continue to the resort of Whistler for an included tour of the town and gondola trip up Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains.

Stay two nights at the locally rated 3-star Crystal Lodge (3Q), Whistler in the heart of Whistler Village. Facilities at the hotel include a choice of restaurants, outdoor heated swimming pool, fitness centre and sauna. Each of the 158 air-conditioned rooms features a television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, safe, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi. B

Please note: on May 6 and September 2021 departures it will not be possible for you to visit the Whistler Mountain gondola ride due to the seasonal operating schedule. Instead you'll enjoy an included gondola ride at Sulphur Mountain, in Banff, on day 13. 

Day 7 Whistler


At leisure. You may like to try one of the many fine restaurants and cafes in this alpine resort.B

Day 8 Whistler to Sun Peaks

Fraser Valley

Leave Whistler and the Lower Mainland and travel through the lush Fraser Valley. Learn about the Gold Rush, the life of a prospector, and the Shuswap First Nation on a visit to Hat Creek Ranch.

Break up the journey from Whistler to Jasper with an overnight stay at the locally rated 4-star Sun Peaks Grand (4Q). Facilities include a heated outdoor swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, fitness room, pub, lounge and a restaurant serving local Okanagan Valley wines. All rooms have a bathrobe, television, telephone, coffee maker, hairdryer and drinks cooler. Dinner is included tonight. B, L, D

Day 9 Sun Peaks-Jasper


Head east along the Yellowhead Highway into Alberta.

You spend the next two nights at the locally rated 3-star Crimson Hotel (3Q). The hotel is situated within easy walking distance of Jasper's downtown, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The 99-room hotel features an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness room, restaurant and lounge/bar. All rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, cable television, tea and coffee making facilities, mini fridge, microwave, safe, telephone and hairdryer. B, D

Day 10 Jasper

Maligne Canyon

Enjoy an included tour of Jasper and its surroundings, including Maligne Canyon. See Maligne Lake and Medicine Lake on an optional trip. B

Day 11 Jasper-Banff


Drive along the famous Icefields Parkway en route to Banff, including a stop at the Athabasca Glacier for a ride on the Ice Explorer.

Stay two nights at the locally rated 4-star Banff Park Lodge (4Q). There's plenty to do here in the highest town in Canada, and it's right on your doorstep. You can browse the shops and galleries of the attractive main street or stroll along riverside walking trails. The National Park that surrounds the town is an ideal location for wildlife spotting, hiking, cycling, winter sports and the less energetic hobby of photography! Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, lounge, indoor pool, small gym, steam room, whirlpool, beauty salon, news stand and gift shop. All 211 rooms have a balcony or patio, cable television, direct-dial telephone, coffee maker, fridge, safe, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and Wi-Fi (charges apply). Travel to Kananaskis, a beautiful mountain resort from where you can explore the Alberta Rocky Mountains, visit the serene Barrier Lake, or perhaps enjoy one of the paved trails and view points.

Stay two nights at the locally rated 3-star Mount Kidd Manor (3Q) where facilities include a restaurant, bar, indoor pool, small fitness centre, BBQ area and garden. All 211 rooms have a balcony or patio, television, telephone, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and free Wi-Fi.  B

Day 14 Kananaskis

Today explore this picturesque resort at your leisure. Later today, move on out to Boundary Ranch for an included farewell ranch barbecue. B, D

Day 15 Kananaskis-UK

Early afternoon leave Kananskis for Calgary airport for your overnight flight. B
