Day 1 UK to Calgary

After taking your included VIP door-to-door travel service to the airport, fly to Calgary. Transfer to the 4-star Residence Inn Downtown (3Q), which is located in the central Beltline district of this cosmopolitan city in the foothills of the spectacular Rocky Mountains.
Facilities at the hotel include a restaurant, lounge bar, and fitness centre. Each of the air-conditioned bedrooms has a telephone, television, and hairdryer, fully equipped kitchen and a separate living space. Dinner is not included tonight so you're free to dine out wherever you like. Enjoy welcome drinks tonight.
Day 2 Calgary to Banff

Enjoy a brief orientation tour of Calgary before travelling to Banff. Travel to Banff (80 miles, 90 minutes).
Enjoy a cable-car ride that will take you to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for views over Banff and a panorama of mountains and valleys. Sulphur Mountain got its name because of the sulphurous hot springs at the Park’s Cave and Basin Spring.
Stay two nights at the 4-star Royal Canadian Lodge (4Q). Right on Banff’s main street, the hotel is within walking distance of shops and restaurants, and has a restaurant, a mineral pool, a hot tub and a steam room. All rooms have a television, telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, safe, iron and ironing board.
You'll be able to enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure. B, D
Day 3 Banff

This morning enjoy an included scenic drive around Banff. Enjoy your afternoon at leisure or perhaps join an optional excursion. B
Day 4 Banff to Jasper

En route to Jasper (190 miles, four hours), pause at jade-coloured Lake Louise, ‘Jewel of the Rockies’.
Continue your journey along the Icefields Parkway, perhaps the most exciting stretch of highway in Canada, running from Lake Louise to Jasper through the heart of the Rockies. You'll take an included Ice Explorer ride over part of the Athabasca Glacier.
Arrive at Jasper National Park late this afternoon, where you'll spend the next two nights at the 3-star Sawridge Inn (3Q). Facilities include an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, outdoor hot tub, two restaurants, a lounge bar and a gift shop. For an additional charge, guests may use the Mountain Wellness Spa, where various health and beauty treatments are available. All guest rooms have a television, direct-dial telephone, coffee maker, fridge, hairdryer and ironing facilities. Each room offers wireless high-speed internet access free of charge. B, D
Please note: some departures will stay at the recently renovated 3-star Chateau Jasper (3Q), which has an indoor pool, grill restaurant and lounge, free Wi-Fi. Rooms feature fully integrated kitchen with coffee and tea making facilities, in room safe.
If your tour starts on April 23 you will have the opportunity to enjoy the Jasper Sky Tram with an included packed lunch as your included excursion for the day instead of the Ice Explorer ride, due to this not being in operation until later in May. The Jasper SkyTram is an aerial tramway on the mountain called The Whistlers near Jasper. It is the highest and longest guided aerial tramway in Canada.
Day 5 Jasper

At leisure. There will be a choice of optional excursions available on this day. Your tour manager will be able to provide more information. B
Day 6 Jasper to Kamloops

Join the Rocky Mountaineer for a thrilling rail journey through spectacular scenery. Stay overnight at a 3 star hotel selected by Rocky Mountaineer. B, L
Day 7 Vancouver

Enjoy breakfast on board Rocky Mountaineer, whilst continuing your rail adventure through breathtaking scenery as you journey to Vancouver.
Stay overnight at the 4-star Georgian Court Hotel (4Q), which is set in the heart of downtown Vancouver’s ‘Theatre and Sports Entertainment District’ and is just steps away from Robson Street’s chic shops and Yaletown’s charming restaurants, as well as many other local attractions. The hotel has a fitness centre with a fully equipped exercise room, whirlpool and a steam room.

Enjoy an included city tour of Vancouver before embarking Holland America's Koningsdam for your seven-night full-board cruise along the Alaskan Coast. B, D
Day 9 At Sea - cruising the Inside Passage

Cruise past fjords, forested islands and snow-capped mountains. B, L, D
Day 10 Juneau

Spend this morning cruising Travy Arm fjord. Arrive this afternoon in the Alaskan capital of Juneau, which nestles between towering mountains and forested hills. Perhaps visit the Red Dog Saloon, pan for gold or visit the mighty Medenhall Glacier. B, L, D
Day 11 Skagway

Visit Skagway where you can discover buildings that date from the gold rush era. B, L, D
Day 12 Glacier Bay National Park

An undoubted highlight of your cruise will be Glacier Bay National Park, where you’ll have a front-row view of the incredible spires and pinnacles of ice. B, L, D
Day 13 Ketchikan

Step ashore on Revillagigedo Island. Ketchikan is situated in steep hills in the Tongass National Forest. B, L, D
Day 14 Cruising the Inside Passage

Sail back through the Inside Passage. B, L, D
Day 15 Vancouver

Disembark in Vancouver and enjoy some free time before travelling to the airport for your return flight. B
