Indoor swimming pool
The hotel enjoys an excellent location opposite the promenade in the North Shore area of town. The North Pier is approximately 900 metres away, and many attractions can be reached via the promenade.
You may wish to take the famous tram, which stops right outside the hotel. Blackpool North railway station is 800 metres away.
A quintessential seaside tow, Blackpool has a lengthly promenade which is home to three Victorian-style piers, and framed by plenty of attractions to keep you entertained. You can take the lift to the top of the famous 518-foot tall Balckpool Tower, or take to the dancefloor of the opulent Tower Ballroom.
Exploring further afield you can discover the beauiful Lake District, which provided no end of inspiration for the Romantic poets.
Nick Miles has danced from an early age. He is now co-principal of the Star Dance Club, a successful school in London and Kent. As a member of the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) he is involved in competitions throughout the country on a weekly basis. In 1999 he introduced the Grand Finals events for the ISTD a culmination of events held throughout the country still attracting over 4,000 competitors.
He is also a member of the British Dance Council, the governing body of UK dancing and is on the executive committee of the Dance Promoters Association (DPA) a body set up to promote competition and events in the UK. Alongside this work Nick promotes social dance events in London and the South-East, one being the famous Ballroom Blitz events at the Royal Festival Hall. Nick is the only person in the history of the ISTD to have received the Imperial Award for services to dance. He has also received the Carl Alan Award – dubbed the dance version of the Oscars – for services to dance.

After breakfast you'll be able to pick up some insider tips from your host, Nick Miles, during your first dance tuition session. This afternoon you'll head to the lavish Tower Ballroom on an included excursion (please note this excursion may take place on a different afternoon). Return to the hotel for dinner and another social dance evening. B, D

Perhaps go for a stroll along the promenade, or catch the tram, and make the most of Blackpool's seaside attractions or you could venture further afield.
