Day 1 UK-Pisa

After taking Saga's included UK door-to-door travel service to the airport, fly to Pisa. Stay three nights in Città di Castello, an elegant historic city surrounded by 16th century walls which sits on the flood plain of the River Tiber in Umbria. Stay in the centre at the locally-rated 4-star Hotel Tiferno. A welcome drink and dinner is included tonight. D.
Day 2 Rural Villages

Enjoy an orientation walk this morning. Later, discover the pretty scenery of the countryside, also visiting the medieval town of Arezzo. B,D.
Day 3 Florence

An included excursion takes you to Florence, whose timeless treasures have captured the imagination of many celebrated authors. B,D.
Day 4 Fiuggi

Travel to the hill-town of Fiuggi, stopping en route in Siena, famous for its shell-shaped central piazza where extraordinary horse races are held. You have time for lunch here. Your four-night stay in central Fiuggi is based at the locally-rated 4-star Hotel San Giorgio. B,D.
Day 5 Fiuggi

Spend today at leisure, perhaps exploring Fiuggi independently. Or perhaps join the optional excursion to Tivoli and Villa d’Este.
Day 6 Lazio villages

Enjoy an included morning tour of the Lazio region and its villages, then spend the afternoon at leisure. B,D.
Day 7 Rome

Today's highlight is an included morning panoramic tour of the capital. Wherever you turn, Rome's streets are filled with masterpieces from almost every age including the magnificent Roman Colosseum. Your afternoon is at leisure to explore the Italian capital further. B,D.
Day 8 Caserta

In the morning travel to Caserta, via the rocky hill of Montecassino, where you can explore the abbey. Stay for three nights at the locally rated 4-star Hotel dei Cavalieri situated in the heart of Caserta. The hotel overlooks the piazza and is a short distance from the Royal Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your final three dinners will be served at your hotel. B,D.
Day 9 Neapolitan Riviera

Enjoy an included tour of the Neapolitan Riviera. Drive along the coast from Naples to Sorrento, the cliffside town which offers spectacular views over the Bay of Naples. B,D.
Day 10 Caserta

Relax at the hotel or perhaps go exploring independently. Alternatively, join a full-day optional tour to two of Campania's most popular attractions.
Day 11 Caserta-UK

Travel to Naples airport for your return flight and included UK door-to-door travel service. B.
