Electra Palace, Trianta Beach, Ialisos 851 01

The locally rated 5-star Electra Palace (4Q+) is the perfect choice for sun-seekers and fun-seekers alike. The focal point is the large outdoor pool and spacious sun terrace. Beyond, you'll find a tennis court, four restaurants, five bars and of course that all important private beach. You might be tempted to sign-up for some relaxing yoga sessions, maybe take a quiet swim in the indoor pool, curl up with a book on a sun lounger (you can replenish your reading supplies in the library) and then enjoy the evening entertainment, which could be anything from a flamenco show to live music.

All 306 cool, contemporary rooms have a balcony and are furnished with lots of little extras to make your stay that much more comfortable. There's free Wi-Fi so you can let friends and family back home know just what a great time you're having; a minibar with some welcome complimentary treats; tea and coffee making facilities, plus bathrobes and slippers, and beach towels so you don't have to pack your own.

You can also upgrade to a sea-view room for a supplement, subject to availability.

Food and Drink

Kickstart the day with a hearty breakfast in the art deco styled main restaurant, which also presents delicious buffet lunches and dinners. Your stay includes two à la carte dinners in any of the three à la carte restaurants (prior reservation with the hotel required). For daytime drinks you can't beat the sociable pool bar or beach bar, while in the evenings the lobby bar and lounge bar are both favourable options for an after-dinner coffee or a cocktail or two, and there's also a bar overlooking the sea. Perfect for a warm summer's night…

Please note that men should wear trousers to dinner in the hotel’s restaurants.

Dive in for a game of water polo, form a team for a friendly match of volleyball, or retreat to the library for a peaceful hour or two. With a large pool, tennis court and nightly entertainment from folklore shows, rock, jazz and Latin shows and local bands to interactive fun and games performed at the outdoor theatre, there’s certainly lots to do.
