Day 1 UK to Pula to Rabac to Island of Cres
Fly to Pula and transfer to the port of Rabac (27 miles, 45 minutes) to board your ship, MV Dalmatia (3*).
Depart for Cres, which was formerly part of Mali Losinj until the Romans dug a channel to separate them! Covered with forests, olive trees and vineyards Cres is home to the rare griffon vulture.
Visit the harbour and Roman ruins of the town on an included walking tour. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner. D
Day 2 Cres to Mali Losinj
After breakfast sail on to the island of Mali Losinj and join a guided walking tour of the town and visit to the Garden of Fine Scents. B, L
Day 3 Mali Losinj to Susak to Rab
Cruise to Susak, a small island famous for its yellow sandy beaches.
Continue to the island of Rab where you’ll moor overnight. B, L, D
Day 4 Rab
Join a walking tour of Rab's medieval town where you can admire Venetian architecture and perhaps, after lunch, take an optional island sightseeing tour of Rab and discover a unique and authentic side of this beautiful island. B, L
Day 5 Rab to St Grgur to Krk
Your cruise continues this morning with lunch on board at St Grgur followed by a short visit to the island and then a brief visit to Goli Otok island.

Day 6 Krk to Opatija
After breakfast join an included walking tour of the old town of Krk.
Afterwards transfer by coach to Vrbnik, one of the most famous Croatian villages, to tour a family-run winery and taste the local wine. Cruise to the Opatija Riviera on the mainland which is lined with luxurious villas and beautiful parks.
The popular spa resort of Opatija was a favourite with past royals, artists and politicians. Discover more about its illustrious past on a guided walking tour. B, L, D
Day 7 Opatija to Rabac
This morning perhaps take an optional bus tour to the Istrian Peninsula and a boat trip to visit the National Park Brijuni Islands.
The 14 islands are home to many rare plants and animals. Your optional excursion includes a visit to the ancient Roman amphitheatre at Pula.
Return to the ship for the Captain’s farewell dinner. Your ship moors overnight in Rabac. B, L, D
Day 8 Rabac to Pula to UK
Transfer to the airport (27 miles, 45 minutes) for your flight to the UK. B
Rab Island by bus
Rab island is one of the greenest islands in the Adriatic and is covered with fragrant pine forests and beautiful sandy beaches.
This afternoon join a scenic bus tour of the island, which will give you an insight into the landscape, as well as the tastes and flavours of Rab.
Continue on a short scenic drive and to the Museum of Prosciutto where you will have the chance to taste the local specialities of smoked ham and olives.

Post-holiday extension - Full board
After your tour enjoy a stay at the 4-star Hotel Park in the coastal town of Lovran on the shores of the Adriatic Sea. Lunch will be at a local restaurant.
Dinners on Days 1 and 7 will be onboard ship, plus three additional dinners to be advised upon embarking. For the other three evenings, you can dine ashore (at your own expense) and enjoy the local ambience.
A reasonable level of fitness is needed on this tour: excursions may involve walking on uneven ground and when ships berth side by side, you may need to cross between them and negotiate ladders. The Captain reserves the right to change the order of the itinerary if weather conditions are bad or if ports are very busy.
