Phuket Old Town and Thai Hua Museum
Discover the historical side of Phuket on this half-day walking tour. It was tin mining that provided the wealth to build the shrines and shops, temples and grand mansions here, as you’ll find out at the Sino-Portuguese-style Thai Hua Museum. Walk through the old town to an old coffee house and sample traditional coffee and desserts. Continue with a walking tour of part of Thalang Road, the multi-cultural heart of the Old Town and formerly the trading centre of Phuket. Each Sunday it is closed to traffic as the lively and colourful Lard Yai market fills the street.

Phuket is famed for its beautiful beaches and you'll enjoy a scenic tour of its sweeping sandy bays. At the island's southernmost tip you'll stop at Phromthep Cape where you can gaze across the aquamarine sea towards the Indian subcontinent. Later you'll visit the largest and most ornate temple on the island – Wat Chalong – where you can view a splinter of the Buddha's bone, and the gilt statue of Luang Por Cham, who helped quell an uprising in 1876. Cashew nuts are grown on Phuket and you will be taken to a factory where you can sample no fewer that ten flavours of cashews.

James Bond Island
At Phang Nga Bay you will find some of the most spectacular scenery – towering cliffs, vast limestone massifs and dramatic caves as well as mangrove forest. Movie buffs will relish the opportunity to take a longboat out to the forested islands of Ko Khao Phing Kan, where Roger Moore filmed The Man with the Golden Gun. Glide past limestone cliffs, and Khao Tapu – the distinctive towering 20 metre limestone rock – and onto to the nearby island, but be prepared to get out of the boat and wade through the shallows to reach dry land. En route visit the historic stilted fishing village of Ko Panyi, home to a Muslim community. Lunch is included.
