Day 1 UK to Victoria Falls

After taking your included VIP door-to-door travel service, fly overnight to Victoria Falls.

Day 2 Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Travel to the 4-star Victoria Falls Safari Lodge (4Q), bordering the Zambezi National Park and just two-and-a-half miles from Victoria Falls, where you'll stay for three nights. D

Optional excursions

Board the Royal Livingstone Express for a unique fine dining experience, as the train carries you through the Mosi-Oa-Tunya wildlife park. Enjoy a late afternoon ride through the reserve. As the sun sets you’ll be invited to dine in one of the authentic 1930s dining carriages, where a five-course meal will be served. Drinks and other refreshments will also be available throughout. This train uses authentic heritage railway equipment consisting of a steam engine dating from the 1920s and lovingly-restored, air-conditioned carriages from the 1930s.

Day 3 Victoria Falls and Sundowner Cruise

Victoria Falls

Join an included guided walk beside the Falls. You'll go along the Zimbabwe side, stopping at different vantage points along the way through the mist created by the sheer force of the Zambezi hitting the rocks below. Above the turbulence of Victoria Falls, the Zambezi river is calm and still and during your included sundowner cruise you may catch glimpses of hippos, crocodiles, elephants and giraffes drinking at the water’s edge. B, D

Day 4 Mpisi Village

Visit Mpisi Village to glimpse how people have lived for generations, and learn about their traditional customs. B, D

Day 5 Victoria Falls-Kasane

See elephants on safari

Cross the border into Botswana and travel to Kasane (54 miles, 80 minutes), for a seven-night stay at the locally rated 4-star Chobe Safari Lodge (4Q).

Set on the banks of the Chobe River at the edge of Chobe National Park, this lodge offers a real close-to-nature experience and you may spot crocodiles, hippos, monkeys and countless species of birds just moments away from your accommodation – the park is not fenced, so you can observe the wildlife wandering freely. Rooms are in thatched buildings overlooking the gardens, are air conditioned and have ceiling fans, a television, telephone, hairdryer, tea and coffee-making facilities and a safe. House wine is included with dinner. B, D

Day 6 Chobe National Park
