It’s known as 'Deutsches Eck' or German Corner and features a huge statue of Kaiser Wilhelm l. Glowering on the right bank is the imposing Festung Ehrenbreitstein, a citadel built by the Prussians. You might like to join an optional tour of the town and castle this afternoon. This evening your on-board entertainment comes with a touch of patriotism. ‘Meanwhile, Back Home...’ is a set celebrating the music of UK artists who were inspired by the pioneers of rock ‘n’ roll across the Atlantic.
