The Astronomical Clock Tower, Prague

The UNESCO World Heritage Site of Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. Perhaps discover it on an optional city tour. Alternatively you might choose to enjoy a unique experience and join an optional culinary walking tour of the city.

Leopold Gate leads back to the Old Town where the narrow, cobbled streets reveal sights such as the Archbishop’s Palace, St Martin’s Cathedral, the charming Main Square with its fountain and Old Town Hall, and a number of 18th-century palaces. Cruise towards the culture-rich Hungarian capital of Budapest this evening.

Day 9 Budapest

Beautiful Buda Castle, Budapest

Budapest is a city made up of two parts: Buda and Pest, built on opposite banks of the Danube. The cities have been officially united since 1873, but they are still very different in character. Buda is older and more graceful, with its cobbled streets and medieval architecture, while Pest is the administrative and commercial centre, with wide avenues and impressive 19th-century public buildings. East meets west in this fascinating city, and this can be seen in the variety of shops and restaurants. An included city sightseeing tour will reveal the capital's highlights, including the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Buda Castle, Matthias Church and Fisherman's Bastion. After lunch why not join an optional excursion to either Godollo Palace or the Lazar Equestrian Park horse farm. Alternatively choose a unique experience and elect to join an optional culinary walking tour of the city.
