Our own continent is packed with amazing sights to discover
In addition to our longer itineraries, we've introduced a selection of ‘mini cruises’ – ideal for trying a Saga cruise at a great-value price, or perfect if you’re simply looking for a short break.
Hop aboard our welcoming ships for just four, five or six nights and you’ll be surprised by how much you can see and do. Perhaps visit the chocolate shops of Bruges, explore the Channel Islands, or delve into the history and culture of Amsterdam. New for 2018, we’re also calling at Tilbury, so you can spend a day in London too.
Some cruises even sail over the long Bank Holiday weekends, so they’re easy to find the time for.
Bruges - the city of chocolate
When in Bruges, don’t miss the chance to see a master Belgian chocolatier at work. Warm up with a mug of hot chocolate before watching the experts craft their world-famous confections – the smell is divine!
After a tasting, it’ll be hard to resist stocking up on the chocolates, truffles and candies to take back home…
For history fans, we offer several tours of the poignant war sites of the region, such as the D-Day beaches, the town of Arromanches, and a tour of the Bayeaux Tapestry museum.
Walk the cobbled streets of Amsterdam, criss-crossed by canals, bridges and thousands of bicycles.
Enter some of the famous art galleries such as the Van Gogh and Rembrandt museums, enter the poignant hiding place of Anne Frank or hop on a canal boat tour.
On selected ‘mini cruises’ we make a welcome stop at Guernsey, a Crown dependency of Britain.
Spend the day in the glorious harbour of St Peter Port, head inland to the tiny yet fascinating Little Chapel, or if you’re feeling energetic, head for the hills on a walk with an expert local guide along the clifftops, from where on a clear day you can spot the neighbouring Channel Islands of Alderney, Sark, Herm and Jersey.
A special Christmas treat
We’ll take you to Bremen, Bruges and Amsterdam where you can shop ‘til you drop in the Christmas markets, packed with unique gifts and presents.
All while enjoying the carol singers, decorated trees, twinkling lights and a nip of hot Glühwein… and perfect for getting into the spirit ahead of the big day!
