Discover the best of Ireland

From Belfast to Donegal, and Galway to County Cork, explore all four corners of the Emerald Isle on this late summer cruise.

There can be few finer ways to spend time than cruising around the Emerald Isle, connecting with the story of RMS Titanic in Belfast and stepping off the beaten track to explore Donegal’s captivating countryside. Your 9-night, late-summer cruise introduces you to the four corners of Ireland, providing delightful contrasts between elegant cityscapes and rural villages. You begin in Belfast, Northern Ireland’s capital city. It has transformed itself in the past 20 years, from industrial powerhouse to cultural hub. Belfast features several stand-out attractions including the Botanic Gardens, Belfast Zoo, the Ulster Museum and Titanic Belfast.

Killybegs is your next port of call, Ireland’s largest fishing port and gateway to County Donegal. Within easy reach are Slieve League, among the highest sea cliffs in Europe. For a truly authentic Irish experience, Quay Street in Galway City provides colour and traditional folk music to delight locals and visitors alike. Perhaps enjoy a pint of the ‘Black Stuff’ as the fiddles, banjos and guitars play out their well-known tunes. Then it’s onwards to Bantry Bay and Cobh, each with their own stories to tell – Cobh was the last stop RMS Titanic made before attempting to cross the Atlantic Ocean – before your final destination, Dún Laoghaire. It is Dublin’s primary port and is located half an hour from the city centre. You won’t be far from the city’s many museums and the Guinness Brewery.
