Saga Pearl II blog - Captains' blogs
9th November, 2018
We decided to make our way to Lisbon as the swell looked more favourable to the south. We had two nice sea days up to Lisbon and we embarked our pilot at 4:30pm and we were alongside by 5:30pm. Many keen guests and crew alike making their way ashore in the capital city of Portugal. Lots to see and do here and lots of shopping to be done. After our overnight stay we had the next day here too!!
3pm is all aboard and with all our guests onboard it is time to leave this great place. Our last port for this cruise and the last one for me before going home in Portsmouth on the 13th November. It has been a great cruise and it has been a pleasure!!
See you all ready for the Christmas cruise and safe sailings to Captain Tanner and his team from Portsmouth.
Captain Nick Sunderland
