We had a very nice relaxing day at sea. We held our 24hr Cycle ride, accomplished by the crew, for our charity partner Silverline. Dame Esther and myself opened the ceremony at 5pm, just before our departure from Harstad. At 5pm on our seaday we completed it and the crew rode 608 miles - amazing, and thanks to all our guests who sponsored us – it is going to a great cause.
Beautiful weather at the pilot station for Alesund this morning, indeed the weather forecast was right for clear skies, sunshine, no wind and slightly warmer temperatures!! I really like Alesund and it has a special feel to it whether you visit in the winter or the summer. All docked 8am and the Red army was ashore. We got some great photos for you, hope you enjoy them.
So with all aboard it was time to sail to our last port of call this cruise, Flam. This is another of my personal favourites and I am going on the train!!!). Full steam ahead……..
