Seti River Rafting

2 nights' post-extension

(Half-Board)

Enjoy three days rafting on the gentle waters of the Seti River, with two nights at the Ker & Downey Seti River Camp. Return to Kathmandu for one night at the Hotel Malla (4Q).

Day 1: Pokhara to Seti River Camp

Travel south-east by road to Damauli and join your raft for a three-hour ‘rafting experience’ that will take you down the Seti River to the camp.

Your crew will give a full briefing before you set off. All equipment, such as life vests, helmets, dry bags, spray suits and booties, is included. Experienced guides and porters will accompany you throughout your trip.

During the course of your journey a stop will be made for a picnic lunch.

You arrive this afternoon at the Seti River Camp, where you stay for two nights. The camp consists of safari-style tents with beds, a changing room, a verandah and an attached bathroom.

All meals are included during your stay at the camp, in addition to drinking water and soft drinks, tea or coffee with meals. In the evenings there is a Happy Hour, usually from 6pm to 7pm, when a free bar serves a limited selection of local beers, spirits and soft drinks.

Day 2: Seti River Camp

Spend today at the Seti River Camp, with a chance to relax or participate in some organised activities.

In the morning, you can join a hike through the forest to visit remote villages where tourists seldom go. Afterwards, you may wish to take a dip in the river, before returning to the camp for lunch.

This afternoon is free to explore the landscaped gardens and the riverbanks, or you may simply prefer to relax in a hammock or tree house.

Day 3: Seti River Camp to Kathmandu

The morning is spent rafting. There are five Class II rapids, none of which are more than 50 metres long. The remainder of your journey is a relaxing float trip that allows you to sit and enjoy the surrounding countryside. Depending on the water level, you should spend between two and three hours on the raft.

On completion of the rafting, you will be taken by road to the Malla Hotel, as used on the main tour, for your final night in Nepal. You will have the rest of the day to spend at leisure before a farewell dinner this evening, a chance to share your experiences and memories.

Day 4: Kathmandu to the UK

It is time to leave this magical country as you journey to the airport for your flight back to the UK..
