Enjoy an included sightseeing tour of the city this morning taking in the extensive collection of Buddhist manuscripts at the National Library, the Zorig Chusum or painting school and the Textile and Folk Heritage Museum.
Lunch is included at a local restaurant followed by a visit to Trashichhoedzong, which is the seat of the government, the centre of religion and the site of the monarch’s throne. You also visit the King’s Memorial and a handicraft emporium.
