Breisach, in the Rhine Valley is built on a hill and sometimes becomes an island before the river was straightened in the 19th-century. As well as its 13th-century Romanesque St Stephansmünster cathedral, it also has a 17th-century fortress.
The city of Mannheim
Mannheim, located at the confluence of the Rhine and Neckar Rivers, has a historic water tower, the Wasserturm, set in a large park, which acts as the centrepiece for the city’s annual Christmas Market.

On Jun 17, 2013 dep the ship is unable to dock in Winningen on days 12 & 13. The ship will depart Cochem early evening on day 12 to Koblenz where you will overnight and depart on day 13 at 1300 for Konigswinter as planned. A coach shuttle will be available on day 13 from Koblenz to Winningen.
