  • Cochem Castle
The historic castle in Cochem is a popular landmark, and the vines grown on the hill on which the castle stands, give a clue to another of the town’s attractions, its wine festivals.
  • Historic Koblenz
Situated on both banks of the Rhine at its confluence with the Moselle River, Koblenz, which celebrated its 2000th birthday in 1992, is a great city to explore and is a focal point of the Mosel and Rhenish wine trade.
  • Trier, Germany's oldest town
So named in the Middle Ages because of the darkened colour of its stones, Porta Nigra in Trier is a large, well-preserved, Roman city gate, the original name of which has long been lost, but one of four the city once had.
  • Picturesque Boppard
Founded by the Romans, Boppard, with its dramatic Gothic architecture, lies near the mid-point of the Rhine River in Germany, an area particularly known for its castles and the famous ‘Lorelei’ rock.
