On Board The Ship
Saga Sapphire has been transformed with a stylish and contemporary design throughout with many fabulous features that include, ten passenger decks, spacious cabins including 65 new balcony cabins, half a dozen restaurants and bars and two pools.
At the View from the Top on Deck 11 you’ll be able to enjoy the hot tubs and watch films in the open-air cinema. Nearby, the pool area will have a British seaside feel, where you can grab some gourmet fish and chips, traditional sweets and ice cream from The Beach Club and laze around the large pool.
You may be tempted into The Drawing Room, a sociable area where you’ll be free to make use of the computers and iPads, pay a visit to the well-stocked larder, relish the views from the panoramic windows and relax in the cosy seats – just like your own living room at home! It also has a fantastic Library and family tree research station.
When it comes to bars and meeting places, you’ll be spoilt for choice on board. Aviators' Bar will be a welcoming venue for meeting throughout the day, while Cooper’s, a bar themed around classic British comedians will sometimes host live comedy in the evenings. The Britannia Lounge will be the venue for the main evening’s entertainment, along with afternoon tea, dance classes and much more.
As you’d expect on board, fine dining is key, and there’ll be a varied choice of venues to suit your every mood. Enjoy a choice of open or fixed seating in
Pole to Pole, our main restaurant decorated with artefacts from around the world. For lighter meals head for The Grill, where you can watch your meat or fish being cooked-to-order in the fabulous show kitchen and dine alfresco on the Verandah.
And when the evening comes, why not try the Indian, Sri Lankan and Thai cuisine of East to West, the ship’s intimate speciality restaurant.
