Batumis Gothic Revival Cathedral
Built between 1898 and 1902 the Batumi Cathedral is a magnificent example of Gothic Revival design. Originally built as a Roman Catholic church, and once used as a high voltage laboratory under the Soviet Union the Cathedral was restored to its original purpose in 1989 by the Orthodox Georgians.
