Out and about

A gentle sweeping road runs down to Ponta Delgada's small marina and there is a selection of shops, bars, restaurants and a chemist within walking distance.There is a public bus stop outside the hotel where local buses depart for Funchal. A free courtesy bus runs twice daily, six days a week, to the village of São Vicente.

Funchal airport is approximately one-and-a-quarter hours’ drive away.

Ponta Delgada
