It is perfectly located for exploring the attractions of the south, including Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés and is exclusively for adults.
Please note: Building work is currently taking place opposite the Iberostar Costa Canaria. The work, which is taking place between 0830-1600 Monday to Friday, at a distance of approx. 20m from the hotel, is expected to continue until the end of June. The works cannot be seen from the public areas of the hotel or pool, however there may be some noise when customers are on their balconies.
The hotel is within walking distance of a few shops and restaurants of Playa de San Agustin.
Outside the hotel is a public bus stop, with services to Playa del Inglés, a lively and popular tourist town. A little further beyond Playa del Inglés is Maspalomas, another popular resort.
Las Palmas airport is approximately 30 minutes' drive away.
The south of Gran Canaria is renowned for its dark sandy beaches and tropical sunshine. The Iberostar Costa Canaria is situated in the relaxed and upmarket resort of Playa de San Agustin, which has three beautiful black sand beaches.

Further along the south coast are the two popular resorts of Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas. Gran Canaria's largest tourist resort, Playa del Inglés, has superb duty-free shopping and is lively and energetic while Maspalomas is famed for its stunning Sahara-like sand dunes.
