The medieval city of Siena
Siena is famous for its labyrinth of narrow, winding streets of pink and white buildings which lead to the Piazza del Campo, one of Europe's most beautiful old town squares. The square is divided into nine sectors, representing the members of the Council of Nine, the traditional governors of the city.
