Maspalomas sand dunes
The Maspalomas Sand Dunes are a nature reserve and paradise for sun worshippers, perhaps try your hand out at riding a camel or horse through the dunes. In 1994 the dunes were designated a national park and provide a habitat for a number of rare plant species, some of which can only be found here.
Discover Playa del Ingles
A picturesque 20 minute walk along the seafront promenade will lead you to the lively tourist resort of Playa del Ingles (The English Beach). This is the largest tourist resort in Gran Canaria, together with Maspalomas and San Agustín, Playa del Inglés is a fun-and-sun resort with an array of shopping malls, bars, cafes and restaurants.
