Hotel Dunas Don Gregory QQQQ

San Agustin, Gran Canaria

New

Customer reviews

A great seafront location and panoramic ocean views are among the high points of this new addition to our range of hotels in Gran Canaria.

This bright and airy 4-star hotel is set away from the hustle and bustle in its own secluded bay with direct access to the beach, yet within strolling distance of the attractions of Playa del Inglés.

Directly behind the hotel is the centre of San Agustín, with its selection of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants.

Out and about

The hotel stands in a secluded sandy bay in the peaceful resort of San Agustín. The shopping centre behind the hotel is just 50 metres away up a slope and across the road.

A level seafront promenade accessible from the hotel grounds leads to the lively tourist town of Playa del Ingles. Customers can easily get to Playa de Ingles by bus, which runs frequently from a stop opposite the hotel or reception will call for a taxi if required which are very good value for money.

Alternatively it is a 40 minute walk away (approx.) and along this pleasant walk are cafes and seafood restaurants.

Further along are the attractive lighthouse and sand dunes of Maspalomas, and the boutiques and restaurants of fashionable Playa Meloneras.

There is a local bus service to Playa del Ingles and Maspalomas.

The airport is about 30 minutes’ drive away.

San Agustín

San Agustín is another quieter alternative to the neighbouring resort of Playa del Inglés. San Agustín was the first resort to be established on Gran Canaria in the 1970s, even before Playa del Inglés and Maspalomas.  There three main beach areas; dark and sandy and a promenade runs their length.

This is a Gran Canaria resort with character,  it has all the amenities you'd expect from a good resort base including various commercial centres offering numerous shops, restaurants and bars.

Fans of casinos will be in their element - there are two casinos no less in San Agustín alone.
