You certainly won’t get bored at the 4-star Cyprotel Laura Beach Hotel as there is always so much going on – from talks on a variety of subjects to sessions of T’ai chi! Paphos is home to many British ex pats, so there’s a real sense of this being a home from home (but with a better chance of sunshine!).

The hotel is currently undergoing a major refurbishment, creating bright and spacious accommodation, and thanks to its west-facing location you can enjoy some spectacular sunsets.

Out and about

The hotel is situated north of the main tourist area of Paphos, so you’ll find plenty of local attractions within reach, such as the Tombs of the Kings three kilometres away and the Old Town and local shops four kilometres away.

The beach is just 100 metres from the hotel. Paphos airport is a 25-minute drive away and Larnaca airport a 90-minute drive.

Paphos

With sunshine and glistening seas, citrus groves and rolling countryside, the island of Cyprus combines beauty and history and is the ideal location for a relaxing holiday.

In the south-west of Cyprus lies Paphos with its charming harbour and ancient history. Formerly the capital of the island, here you can see the Tombs of the Kings, a second-century theatre and third-century buildings which house some of the Mediterranean’s best-preserved mosaics.

From here you can also travel to the divided capital of Nicosia, or visit Curium and the crusader castle of Kolossi. Discover Cyprus’ wine growing region, the Troodos Mountains and 11th-century Monastery of Kykkos.
