Customer reviews

The 4-star Blue Sun Hotel Alga is set before the impressive backdrop of Biokovo Mountain, and positioned next to a shingle beach on a flat, tree-lined promenade on the seafront in Tucepi.

Out and about

There is a 200-metre walk along level ground to the shops, restaurants and bars of Tucepi.

Local buses run to the larger resort of Makarska. The local bus station is approximately 400 metres away from the hotel.

Split airport is approximately two hours’ drive away.

Makarska Riviera

Biokovo Mountain provides a magnificent backdrop to the clear waters and pebble beaches of the Makarska Riviera. The long stretches of beach here are considered to be one of the major attractions and are regarded by some as the most scenic of the Adriatic Coast.

The sweeping forested slopes protect dozens of seaside villages including the small town of Makarska, which has an excellent setting beside a horseshoe-shaped bay. Explore the narrow streets and markets, admire the 16th-century Franciscan monastery and discover elegant St Mark’s Cathedral in the town’s main plaza.
