These tours might involve travelling for three to four hours a day and there will usually be a few days for you to relax. Typically, any walking will be at a leisurely pace and will amount to just a few hours a day.

So that you see more of the sights, you'll travel further on these well-paced tours and may stay in a few more hotels. There could be a greater degree of walking too and over more difficult terrain.

If you want to squeeze maximum enjoyment from your tour, these action-packed adventures could be just what you're looking for. Although we don't like to include lots of long journeys, sometimes it's necessary in order to see the best of a region. So be prepared for a few longer trips (ocassionally up to 10 hours), as well as more strenuous excursions that may take you over rough terrain.
